The Lantern Festival

The Jan. 15 of the lunar canlendar is the Chinese Lantern Festival. I went to Taopei city hall with Harrison and Yoyo and yoyo's friend to see the lanterns been displayed there. I was a little bit disappointed because the lantern there were not as pretty as I expected. There were only a line of lantern on the street side and they were quite small as a cat. I expected to see a huge shining lantern in the centre of the plaza. However, there was a big lantern there, but it was not beautiful at all! Not even close! It was just a big ball consisting of many little lanterns in the middle of the plaza. And when the show began, it just played an animation under the ball and changed its colors, that' s all. How disappointed I was!

What's worse? When we waited for the bus to go back to our school, we saw a bus which had a black boldface words 'Chengchi University' on its windows. And then we took on the bus, thinking about the hot bath we were going to have. However, it was the wrong bus to take. It did pass Chengchi University, but it would take at least fifty minites to get there! Much longer than the other bus takes. So, we had a long trip on our way back to the school. It was so long that my hip became sour and painful.
